Quintay es uno de los lugares que más me gustan en las afueras de Santiago, camino a Viña del mar. Las vistas del mar y paisajes que tiene son espectaculares. Si van, no pueden dejar de visitar la Caleta y los restaurants que están en la costa, se come mariscos y pescados frescos recién pescados del mar. Se puede pasar el día u hospedarse en el complejo Santa Augusta, que es precioso y además tiene unas visitas increíbles.

Quintay is one of the most beautiful places near Santiago, It’s on the same way to Viña del mar. The landscapes and the different views of the sea are amazing. If you go, you must visit the restaurants in the coast, and of course taste the fresh fish of the day. You can spend the day or stay in Santa Augusta resort, is really beautiful.

Sábado::Cumple de Sebi//Saturday::Sebi´s birthday

El sabado fue el cumpleaños de Sebi, y empezamos el día temprano.

Desayunamos en un café muy lindo que se llama Emporio la Rosa, un clásico de Santiago.

Luego fuimos al Mercado Central a comprar unos quesos y Salmón para hacer en el almuerzo Cebiche.

La comida salió muy rica, comimos muchísimo y porsupuesto la torta de cumpleaños bien chocolatosa con dulce de leche.

A la noche fuimos a cenar a Ruby Tuesday, comimos una hamburguesa (las favoritas de Sebi porsupuesto) y para cerrar la noche miramos Inland Empire de David Lynch. La pasamos muy bien!

This saturday was Sebi´s birthday and we started the day very early.

Breakfast in a beautiful cafe in Santiago called Emporio la Rosa.

We went to the Central Market to buy cheese and fish for lunch and make Cebiche.

The lunch was great, we ate a lot and of course the birthday cake, too much chocolate and dulce de leche.

At night we went to Ruby Tuesday for hamburgers (Sebi´s favourites of course) and we end the day with Inland Empire a film by David Lynch. Great day!

Esta canción de Feist no solo es alegre y preciosa sino que además el video es genial y colorido, me hace sentir alegría. Me encantaría estar bailando ahí con ellos, se nota que la estaban pasando bien.

Luzco

Luzco es un negocio de iluminación, pero que tiene además unos objetos increíbles traidos desde Dinamarcar, Holanda, etc. Esta ubicado en Alonso de Cordova y vale la pena visitarlo y quedarse un buen rato disfrutando de los excelentes diseños que tienen. Porspuesto, quiero todo.

Luzco is a lightning shop, but also they have a lot of amazing objects from Denmark, Holland, etc. Is located in Alonso de Cordova and It worth to visit and stay a long long time enjoying the great design. Of course, I want everything!

Increíble este libro para niños y las ilustraciones que tiene más todavía!, no conozco mucho de su autor pero se que es diseñador gráfico. Me encantaría tener este libro! Se llama Garmann's Summer y es sobre un niño que comienza el colegio.

Viva Olika!

Ubicada en Alonso de Cordova, Olika es un negocio que trae marcas escandinavas, entre ellas la famosa Marimekko. Entrar a la tienda es un placer para los ojos, poder apreciar la genialidad y la hermosura del diseño escandinavo es un agrado. Entre varios objetos tienen cuadernos, libros, vasos, telas, bolsos, etc etc. Dato rosa: en el piso de arriba tienen un outlet. No dejen de ir.

Located in Alonso de Cordova, Olika it´s scandinavian design shop, of course with a lot of things of the famous label Marimekko. Visiting the shop it´s a real pleasure for your eyes, with the genius and beauty designs. The shop has books, glasses, fabrics, bags, etc. In the second floor there is an outlet. You must go to Olika.

Muestras para no perderse en Santiago::Cubismo// Da Vinci// Iconos de la música

Hay dos muestras que no se pueden perder en Santiago en el mes de abril y que están hasta fin de mayo.

• En el edificio Telefonica: muestra cubista, una colección bastante nutrida sobre el movimiento que marcó una importante tendencia en el mundo del arte. LINK
• En el espacio Kennedy: además de la comentada y controvertida muestra "Bodies" sobre el cuerpo humano, exhibida con cadaveres, también se encuentra una muestra sobre diferentes artefactos de Leonardo DaVinci. Se exhiben reproducciones de diez de sus más famosas pinturas, como la ´Mona Lisa´, y en formato tridimensional se presentan los estudios de la proporción divina de Da Vinci, de ´El homem vitruviano´, y el estudio del movimiento para la creación de la ´Última cena´. Salida::Expo arte al limite

Arte al límite es una muy buena revista de arte y ayer estuvimos en la inaguración de la exposición que mostraba varios artistas no solo chilenos sino de varios países. Con proyecciones, esculturas, y performances. Muy interesantes y el lugar donde se hizo (Centro Civico de Vitacura) impresionante. La expo dura hasta el domingo 6 de abril.

Arte al límite is a very good magazine of art and yesterday we were in the opening show with various artist not only from Chile, It was from every part of the world. With video art, sculptures, and performances. Very interesting and the place and location (Centro Civico de Vitacura) was amazing. The last day of the expo is this sunday 6th.

Arte//ZOZOVILLE

Descubrí a estos increíbles chicos que forman Zozoville por medio del programa del Chef Anthony Bourdain "Sin reservas", cuando estaba por Berlín. Es simple: Mateo y Johan recolectan objetos que fueron desechados o que se encuentran en lugares abandonados en ciertos barrios de Berlín. Con estos objetos como soporte, crean sus personajes que son increíbles y muy simpáticos. Ellos fueron muy amables en responder mi mail con muy buena onda, pero al menos por ahora no piensan venir por Sudamérica, aunque ganas no les falta! Geniales estos chicos. Aquí su sitio web donde pueden ver sus trabajos. Si están por Berlín no dejen de visitar la galería de zozoville. Unos genios estos chicos.

I discovered this two amazing guys of Zozoville, watching the chef Anthony Bourdain tv show "Without Reservations" when he was in Berlín. It´s simple: Mateo and Johan use old objects as canvas that they find in differents neighbourhoods in Berlin, for create they great and funny characters. They were very nice to answered my mail, very cool, but from now they don´t think to visit Southamerica, but they really want to! Here zozoville website to watch their work.
