Feria de antigüedades en Plaza Perú::Flea market in Plaza Perú

La hermosa Plaza Perú tiene los domingos una feria muy pintoresca que vende antiguedades y se puede encontrar de todo, lo bueno es que casi todo está en muy buen estado y los precios, aunque hay de todo, hay cosas muy accesibles. El domingo pasado estuve mirando por ahí, hay unas cosas preciosas y como hoy es el día de la madre, le compré a mi mamá un broche precioso de los años 40 con unas piedras violetas. También tienen carteras de los años 20, sombreros de la misma época y muebles para reciclar. Imperdible como paseo de domingo a la tarde.

Plaza Perú has a beautiful flea market with a lot of antiques and you can find almost everything. Prices are very reasonable and last sunday I was looking for a mother´s day present, for my mom of course, and I found a beautiful pin from 1940´s. Also I saw an amazing bags and hats from 1920´s and a lot of furniture, chairs, etc. You can´t miss it, with a very nice walk in the park.

Un día en Pirque::A day in Pirque

Pirque es un lugar maravilloso con un paisaje muy lindo y a unos minutos de Santiago. Almorzamos con mi familia en un restaurant chileno donde además bailaron cueca, el baile típico y la comida estaba exquisita, el lugar se llama La vaquita echá. La ambientación del lugar es muy agradable y da gusto comer y pasar un buen rato.

Pirque is a beautiful place with a great landscape and is a few minutes from Santiago. We lunch there with my family in a typical chilean restaurant called La vaquita echá. We saw a nice "cueca dance" , the typical dance of the country of course and the food was amazing. The place is very nice and very well decorated.

Cada vez que paso por este lugar veo este afiche que ya está bastante viejo y aunque no se ni de qué se trata me encanta y me da la sensación que Amelie se está riendo de mi. Me encantaría volver a sentir lo mismo cuando vi esta pelicula la primera vez. Buen fin de semana!

Everytime that I saw this poster which is very old and even I don´t have any idea of what this is about, I love it and I have the feeling that Amelie is laughing about me. I would like to feel the same feeling that I had the first time that I watched this movie. Have a great weekend!

Hay una muestra muy interesante en la Galeria Animal sobre fotografía contemporánea peruana (dos primeras fotos). Porsupuesto esta galería siempre tiene muestras muy buenas y vale la pena recorrerse el edificio entero, que además tiene una arquitectura espectacular. Además tiene un cafecito hermoso y muy agradable para tomar algo rico.

There is a very interesting art show at Galeria Animal about contemporary peruvian photo (the first and second photos). Of course this galery has always great and finest art works and the architecture is amazing, so it worth to walk and visit the whole building. Also has a very nice and relaxing coffee shop.
