Picnic es la creación de dos talentosas diseñadoras argentinas Coty Larguía y Eugenia Troncoso. Tienen de todo, pero una de las cosas que más llama la atención son las telas y todos los diseños derivados. Se dedican más que todo a la estampa. Visiten el sitio web porque es para verlo absolutamente todo. Si visitan la tienda haganlo con tiempo porque es para quedarse horas.

Picnic is the creation of two talented argentinian designers Coty Larguia y Eugenia Troncoso. They have a lot of designs, but one thing that captured my eye was the fabrics and all the designs that they made with it. They print their own fabrics. You must visit their web site because all is beautiful. If you visit their shop, you must need a lot of time because you can stay hours and hours!

Escuchando el muro::Hearing the wall

Sí, literalmente uno puede escuchar un muro en el medio de la calle. Caminando en una calle en Palermo, de repente se ve la imagen de una chica mirando por un hoyo en el muro de una casa común y corriente. Derepente te das cuenta que podés poner tus auriculares en un lugar y escuchar música mientras pasan videos que se ven por esa abertura de la pared. Les puedo asegurar que es la cosa más loca y más rara que vi en mi vida. No conozco mucho más de este proyecto pero creo que es increíble.

Yes, you can hear through a wall in the middle of the street. Walking around Palermo, you can see the image of a girl looking through a hole on the wall in a typical and normal house of the neighborhood. Suddenly you can notice that you can put your headphones on the wall and watching videos. I can tell you that this is the most weird and crazy thing that I ever seen in my whole life!. I don´t know anything about this project but I think is amazing.

Caminando por Palermo derepente me encuentro con esto. Me encantó sobretodo porque no puedo creer que haya un bar de tapas que lleve mi nombre, un momento absolutamente extraño!

Walking around Palermo neighborhood I found this. I loved it because I can´t believe that there is a place, bar de tapas, that is called like me! a very bizarre moment!

Otra de las visitas a tiendas en Buenos Aires. En este caso se trata de la genial diseñadora argentina Nadine Zlotogora. La tienda es bellisima, con unos decorados hermosos que le da una ambientación muy folklórica. La ropa y las colecciones son espectaculares, dificil describirlo. Aqui su sitio web.

Another shop visit in Buenos Aires. In this case the amazing and talented argentinian designer Nadine Zlotogora. The shop is so beautiful, the decoration is breath taking with delicate details, very folk. Clothes and collections are amazing, very dificult to described. Here her website.

No brand es una tienda de dos diseñadores argentinos Hernán Berdichevsky y Gustavo Stecher que supieron sacarle provecho a los iconos argentinos, como Maradona, Evita, el mate, las empandas, y hasta a Borges y Cortázar (mi favorito). Sintetizaron hasta el máximo sus rasgos logrando unos increíbles iconos, sin perder la identidad de cada uno de estos personajes. Situada en Palermo Hollywood en Buenos Aires, fue una de mis visitas favoritas en este viaje. Más allá que se haya explotado bastante el tema de iconos argentinos, nunca los había visto de esta manera y mucho menos tan bien realizados, creo que el trabajo de diseño que hay detrás es notable. Pueden visitar el sitio y además descargar el catálogo de productos.

No brand is an amazing shop in Buenos Aires, Hernán Berdichevsky and Gustavo Stecher are the great designers behind this clever label. They know how to put Argentina in the map iluminating typical argentinian icons like Maradona, Evita, mate (the typical beverage), empandas and of course Julio Cortázar and Borges. They made a great design work, turn this charaters to icons without losing their identity. It was one of my favorite visits in Buenos Aires. The shop is located in Palermo Hollywood neighborhood. Cafe oui oui

Oui oui se convirtió en uno de mis cafés favoritos en Buenos Aires. La ambientación es hermosa, además uno entra y hay un aroma a masa salida del horno que es espectacular. Todo es muy Amelie obviamente, hasta la chica que atiende tenía un aire jajaj. Me tomé un café con leche y una chocotorta, una torta que trae recuerdos de infancia, porque era la torta que hacían todas las madres en los cumpleaños, todo exquisito!

Oui oui is one of my favorite cafes in Buenos Aires. The style and deco are beautiful, everything is so french and so Amelie, you should see the waitress is like her! hahah. I drink an amazing latte with a chococake, a cake that bring me a lot of childhood memories, because is the typical cake that all mothers made at birthdays, everything was so yummy!

De nuevo y al fin en casa!::At home finally!

Estoy de nuevo en casa, llegué a Santiago el viernes y con mucho cansancio, la verdad que fue un viaje alucinante, la pasé espectacular, la experiencia de la charla y la presentación del libro es inexplicable. Tengo mucho para "mostrarles" más que para contarles, definitivamente Buenos Aires es una ciudad hermosa, con muchas sorpresas, muchos cafés y mucho diseño dando vueltas. Aqui comienzo a contarles mi viaje.

I’m at home finally, I arrived in Santiago, I’m very tired, but the truth is that It was an amazing trip, I had a great time: the experience of participating in the Latin American meeting at Palermo university... the book ready at the bookstore...I can’t believe it!. I have a lot to show you. Definitely, Buenos Aires is a beautiful city, with a lot of surprises, a lot of cafes and great design. Here I´m going to show you my birth city and my trip.
