Precolombino

Estoy fascinada con el arte precolombino. Siempre tuve la mirada hacia el arte europeo, que claro que encanta, pero recientemente con el master que estoy haciendo en historia del arte, estuvimos viendo todas estas increíbles culturas de Latinoamérica y realmente siento que descubrí un mundo mágico. Aquí en Santiago tenemos el Museo de Arte Prcolombino que es muy bueno y tiene unos catálogos online buenísimos y encontré uno que me gustó mucho porque trata sobre la joyería precolombina. No se puede creer lo increíble que eran estos artesanos y el manejo iconográfico que tienen. Disfruten de esta maravilla y si andan por estos lados no se olviden de visitar el museo.

I´m fascinated with pre-Columbian Art. I always admired european art but recently I studied in my master course of Art History all these amazing cultures of the region of Latin America and I discovered a new magic world. We have here in Santiago the great Museum of pre Columbian art and it has an incredible online catalogues and one of them catch my eye: a selection of pre columbian jewelry. I can´t believe the value of these artisans and the iconographic work. Enjoy and you can visit the museum of course...

Encontré espectacular esta idea! La Guadalupe te ofrece todo el outfit, incluyendo el peinado, accesorios y el maquillaje para fiestas, cocktails y casamientos. Y se pone aún mejor: te alquilan los vestidos. Quizás esto sea algo común, no se, y quizás estés diciendo en este momento: esto no es nada nuevo, pero al menos aquí en Chile nunca había escuchado algo similar. Además tienen muy buenos precios y unos vestidos hermosos. Fantástico!

I found this a spectacular idea! La Guadalupe offers you a full outfit, including hair, accessories and makeup for parties or cocktails, but it gets better: you can rent dresses. Maybe this is common in other countries or maybe you are saying: this is not a big news. All right, I know, but here in Chile I never heard something like this. Also they have great prices and very beautiful dresses. Fantastic!

I´m really busy this days, but I´m really happy because I´m learning too much in the master of Art History that I told you I signed for. There´s so much too learn I feel dummy.

Also midterms are very close, students are very anxious, I´m really tired but winter holidays are just around the corner. They made beautiful projects (I´ll show you later). So that´s pretty much my days...I miss blogging so much, you can´t tell...

El otro día visité este increíble lugar, mitad peluquería, mitad salón de té. Está lleno de historia, es super antiguo y está ubicado en el centro de Santiago. Fui con mi amiga Pamela, y pasamos un momento fabuloso, lleno de magia y disfrutamos un té como dos "Ladies"...
