Diseños Grafíkk::Grafíkk designs

Esta semana fue agotadora. Pamela y yo estuvimos trabajando y preparando todo para dejar nuestros diseños de Grafíkk en las tiendas Antibalas, Bordel y Lovit, aqui en Santiago. Estamos felices porque quedamos satisfechas con todo y esta primer producción fue espectacular, el trabajo duro valió la pena.
Todos los diseños son diferentes y como todos los accesorios que hacemos tratamos que no se repita ninguno. Estamos pensando seriamente comenzar a ralizar envíos a todas partes del mundo, así que esten atentos y les cuento cualquier noticia que tenga.

This week was exausted. Pamela and I work a lot preparing our designs of Grafíkk to deliver this week to the shops Antibalas, Bordel and Lovit, here in Santiago. We are so so happy because we like the results and the hard work worth it.
All designs are different and we trying to not repeat any design. We are thinking very seriously to shipping our products to every part of world, so stay tune and I will tell you any news about it.

El beso: Karina is an amazing girl, and finally we will meet in person in Buenos Aires! She has a big heart. Her blog is full of beautiful things, details and style.

Loveology: I recently discovered this blog, is very inspiring and has a lot of style images. Love it!

Emilyabigail: this blog is a really eye candy. It has everything, amazing clothes, arquitecture, interior design, trends. Is one of my daily blog visits.

About taste and inspiration: Angelique is a very nice person, I love her blog because she has good taste, and I love every picture that she posts.

Fifi flowers: another recently discovered, I love her amazing drawings of beautiful places and interiors!

Este fin de semana estuvo realmente frío en Santiago y estaba para dibujar y mirar peliculas. Este dibujo fue el resultado de un domingo frío. Les deseo un buen comienzo de semana!

This weekend was really cold in Santiago and all I did was draw and watch movies. This drawing was the result of a very cold sunday. I wish you a good week!

Grafikk en la revista Busca::Grafikk in Busca magazine

El viernes nos llegó el número de la revista Busca, que es repartida en el metro de Santiago, donde salió un artículo sobre nosotras y la ropa de niño que hacemos. Esta revista esta dirigida a mujeres y porsupuesto tiene datos de tiendas, artesanos, diseñadores y moda de Santiago. Gracias a Sofía quien nos hizo la nota!

Last Friday we received the new number of Busca magazine. This magazine is delivered in Santiago subway, is for women and has a lot of info about shops, clothes, emerging designers, and there’s an article about us and our line of kids clothes.

A very happy and exciting day!

Estoy feliz porque hoy nos avisaron de la editorial que nuestro libro Artefactos Invisibles ya estaba en la libreria. No les puedo explicar la alegría que tengo. Hoy a la tarde estuvimos preparando con Pamela la presentación para la Universidad de Palermo. Qué emoción y que nervios!

I’m so happy because today our publisher told us that our book Invisible Artifacts is in the book store. I can’t tell you the joy that I´m feeling today. In the afternoon Pamela and I were working on the conference and presentation for Palermo University. I´m so exciting!

Esta tienda esta ubicada en el barrio Lastarria, un barrio que ya se los nombré varias veces y creo que está creciendo cada día más. Me hace acordar mucho a la onda que tiene Palermo viejo en Buenos Aires y de hecho los dueños de esta tienda Si vos supieras son argentinos y estan viviendo en Santiago. El lugar es hermoso y la ropa muy femenina, romantica y delicada.

This shop located en the emerging neighborhood Lastarria, which I told you before in other posts is growing everyday more and more. It reminds me to Palermo viejo neighborhood in Buenos Aires. In fact the owners are Argentineans. This beautiful shop called Si vos supieras (means If you know) has amazing clothes, very feminine and delicate. I love it!

Ayer mi amigo Leo me mostró esta marca Entre Platos y enloquecí. Hacen vajilla y porcelana, los diseños son hermosos y la verdad que tendría todos. Son de Buenos Aires y estoy pensando que en mi próximo viaje me voy a comprar algo. Desd el sitio web que además esta buenisimo, pueden ver un catálogo. Gracias Leo por este dato!

Yesterday, my friend Leo introduce me this label Entre Platos (means Between dishes) and I get mad about it. They make this beautiful china, plates and mugs, designs are so beautiful and the truth is I want to have all of them. They are from Buenos Aires and I´m thinking to buy something in my next visit to the city. In their website you can download a catalogue with more designs. Thanks Leo for this info!

Artefactos Invisibles::Invisible artifacts

Quiero compartir con ustedes esta alegría que me invade esta semana: finalmente luego de un año, Pamela y yo, pudimos publicar nuestra tesis que realizamos en el año 2006. Será publicado por la editorial Nobuko, dueños de la libreria Cp67, el cual también es un orgullo ya que es una de las librerias más reconocidas en Buenos Aires referidas al tema de diseño, arte y arquitectura.

Como si fuera poco ya ver este pequeño libro materializado, a fines de julio estaremos viajando a las charlas de la Universidad de Palermo en Buenos Aires, en el Encuentro latinoamericano de diseño para realizar la conferencia sobre el tema de nuestra tesis y para presentar el libro. No voy a ver el libro hasta que llegue a Buenos Aires, así que espero que todo salga bien y no se imaginan la ansiedad que tengo!

I want to share with you this joy that I´m feeling this week: finally and last after one year, Pamela and I, could publish our thesis. It will be published for Nobuko, the same owner of the amazing Cp67 bookstore in Buenos Aires, specialized in design, art and arquitecture books.

See this book is an amazing sensation to me,...but also we will travel to Buenos Aires at the end of july to present this book and the thesis of course, in Palermo University of Buenos Aires in the every year event Latin american Design Meeting 2008. You can´t imagine my anxiety!

Me encantan los mugs y la verdad es que tendría una para cada ocasión y mi cocina llena con diferentes diseños, es que hay tantos que es difícil elegir. Me gustó mucho la nueva línea de Casa&ideas, las ilustraciones son preciosas...

Me encantaría saber cuál es aquella taza que más prefieren y porque o para que ocasión.

I love mugs and for every ocation and I would have my kitchen full of every design, and there are so many that is very difficult to decide. I love the new line of Casa&Ideas, illustrations are really beautiful.

I would really like to know if you have a favorite mug, how is it, or why is your favorite mug and in which ocation you like to use it.
