Material nace en el 2004, producto de la busqueda por un diseño independiente, nuevo y joven. Estos chicos además de hacer publicaciones también hacen muchas cosas y tienen muchísimos proyectos. Me encanta la linea de diseño que tienen, y nos demuestra una vez más que hay un gran diseño de calidad local. Felicitaciones a los chicos de Material!

Material was born in 2004, the result of seeking a new, young and independent design. This guys design a lot of things, beside magazines and publications, they have a lot of interesting projects. I loved their designs and they show us, once again, that it´s absolutely posible to make great and quality national design. Congrats guys!

Nueva innaguración::New opening

Una nueva tienda Bennetton abrió esta última semana. Me encanta lo que hiciron para el día de la innaguración, esos arboles se ven tan abrigados y coloridos!

A new Bennetton Store opened this last week. I love what they made for the opening day, I like those trees, they look very cozy and colorfull!

Nueva silla::New chair

Seb y yo estuvimos buscando una silla para nuestro escritorio por mucho tiempo. Finalmente y por suerte encontramos esta silla que era un horror cuando la encontramos en un mercado de pulgas, pero vimos el potencial que podía tener y nos gustó mucho su estructura. Además no queriamos la tipica silla de escritorio o de oficina. Estamos muy contentos con nuestra nueva silla!

Seb and I were looking for a chair for a long time and finally we found it! It´s for our desk and we won´t the typical desk chair or office chair. We found this in a flea market and it was really really ugly but we saw the potencial in this chair, and we are very happy with it!

En esta foto estamos mi mamá y yo caminando por la calle Florida en Buenos Aires. Me encanta su look, parece salida de una pelicula de woody allen de los 70! y estaba embarazada de mi hermana Lucy que porsupuesto aparece entonces en esta foto también.

Cena::dinner

Rosa, mi suegra, me regaló este increíble olla hecha de barro, un tipo de material que es tipico y se trabaja en una pequeña ciudad llamada Pomaire aqui en Chile, una verdadera artesanía y hacen de todo con este material además de ollas y fuentes. Hoy hice este guiso de verduras que es especial para este tipo de olla y además es un plato bastante tipico de Latinoamerica.

Rosa, my mother in law gave me this amazing mud pot made here in Chile in a place called Pomaire. This small town is well known for this kind of craftwork, and they made a lot of things not only pots of course. So, tonight I made a kind of vegetable stew, wich was perfect for this kind of pot and is a typical main course in many countries in Latin America.

Mañana comienza el otoño y aunque es una estación hermosa, voy a extrañar el verano. Esta marca de vestidos es tan romantica, refrescante y femenina, son de Chile y sus diseños me hacen acordar a la brisa del verano, los días soleados, flores y bueno...ustedes saben, en fin, creo que de todas maneras voy a usar uno de estos vestidos con un saco bien abrigado

Tomorrow we will start fall and even is a beautiful season too, I will miss summer. This label is so refreshing, girly and romantic. They are from Chile and remind me so much to that breeze of summer, sunny days, flowers and well...you know, anyway I will use one of these with a very warm coat

La Flor es una tienda preciosa y delicada además de muy femenina, está ubicada en el barrio El Golf en la calle Carmencita. Pueden encontrar en esta tienda, teteras, tazas con hermosas flores y delicados decorados, cojines, collares, papelería y muchas cosas más, además tenemos nuestros productos Grafikk en la tienda, lo cual nos enorgullece mucho y nos pone muy contentas!

La Flor (The Flower) is a beautiful and very very cute, delicate shop located in El Golf neighborhood in Carmencita street. You can find teapots, mugs, cushins, jewlery, papergoods, etc., and of course we have our Grafikk products there, we are very proud and happy to be in La Flor!
