Kuna es una marca de ropa de lana y accesorios peruana de muy alta y excelente calidad. Acaban de abrir una tienda en el mall Alto Las Condes. Tienen unos materiales y texturas increíbles como la lana de alpaca, llama, guanaco y vicuña. Además me gusta mucho la fotografía del nuevo catálogo.

Kuna is a peruvian wool clothes label, with a very high and excelent quality. They recently opened a shop in Alto Las Condes mall. They have an amazing materials and textures like alpaca, llama and vicuña wool. Also I love the photography of the new catalogue.

Revista Ambientes::Ambientes magazine

Hoy tuve la oportunidad de ver el último número de la revista Ambientes en papel, pero resulta que cuando entro a la página también están las versiones en digital completas!. Esta revista es realmente impresionante, tienen unas cosas muy buenas, y todo lo último en diseño y decoración. Muy recomendable para ver. Disfrútenla.

La consentida::Valparaíso

Situada en la hermosa y única ciudad de Valparaíso, La Consentida es una tienda que reúne a varios diseñadores independientes. El lugar se ve hermoso y bien puesto. Én mi próxima visita a Valparaíso, este lugar ya está en mi lista.

Located in the beautiful and unique Valparaíso city, La Consentida (wich means the spoiled) is a shop with a lot of independent designers. The place looks amazing. In my next visit to Valparaíso, this place will be in my list!

I took this picture years ago when I was in a hotel room in Buenos Aires. I miss this city sometimes, I think about the energy of Buenos Aires. On July I will be visit the city again.

Más allá que considere a Duran Duran una banda increíble, sobretodo porque sus últimos trabajos son igual de buenos que los anteriores; la banda anterior que formaban algunos de sus miembros llamada Arcadia, es igual de impresionante. El trabajo se llama So red the rose (1985)y la ilustración de portada es lo que más me gustó de todo y me atrajo a este cd. Insipirada en Jean Cocteau, esta ilustración a cargo de Tony Viramontes, un espectacular ilustrador de moda, que hizo trabajos para Montana, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Valentino, no deja de alucinarme cada vez que la veo. Una de mis ilustraciones favoritas sin dudas.

I consider Duran Duran one of the most greatest band, because their latest work is so good as the oldest; Their first band called Arcadia is amazing too. This work, So red the rose (1985) and the beautiful illustration attracted me immediately to this cd. Inspired in Jean Cocteau work, this illustration of Tony Viramontes, an incredible fashion illustrator, who worked with Montana, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Valentino, delight me every time that I see it. For sure, one of my favorite illustrations ever.

Grace quiere aunque sea una miga

Grace wants a little bit of something
Hoy comenzamos el día con un sol hermoso y radiante. Fue el día del padre y comimos con la familia, pasamos un día hermoso y claro, como siempre es costumbre los domingos mi papá hizo pasta casera, comimos unos exquisitos sorrentinos de espinacas (mi papá es un gran chef de alma) y mi mamá preparó un cebiche increíble. Postre a cargo de mi hermana Lucy, torta Tres leches. Como ven comimos muchísimo y Grace quería comer algo también estaba revoloteando por la mesa. Yo puse las ganas de comer y el vino!

Today we started the day with a beautiful and radiant sun. It was fathers day and we ate with my family, we had great time together and of course, as usual my dad made spinach sorrentinos, is a kind of pasta, (my dad is an amazing chef) and my mom made cebiche. Desert was in charge of my sister Lucy, Tres leches cake. And as you can see we ate a lot and Grace wanted a piece of something and she was all around the table and us. I cooperate with wine and my hungry!

Crear un MIckey Mousse::Create a Mickey Mousse

Un proyecto muy interesante que desarrollaron mis alumnos de tercer año de ilustración digital; un concurso que organizó la empresa Torre junto con Disney, nada más ni nada menos que representar a Mickey Mousse. Tarea dificil porque ya está tan trillado el tema y al principio fue poco motivante, pero realmente creo que los resultados fueron fantásticos. Los chicos crearon unos Mickeys increíbles, estoy muy orgullosa de lo que hicieron.

A very interesting project that my students of 3th year of digital ilustration made; a contest that was organized by Torre and Disney company, the difficult task of represent Mickey Mousse. It was very dificult because the image and the concept is so cliche. But the results were great and I´m very proud of these guys, the characters that they created are amazing!

Ru - papel

Ru-papel, es una de esas tiendas para quedarse horas y sentirse perdido por no saber que elegir. Tienen libretas, cuadernos, tarjetas, cajas y papeles hechos a mano. Tienen su propio taller en Las Condes el cual se puede visitar y comprar. Es dificil quedarse sólo con un producto, pero debo decir que tienen unos móbiles hechos con figuras de origami que son una delicia!. También traen cosas de Papelera Palermo de Buenos Aires. La tienda que visité está en el Drugstore de Providencia.

Ru-papel is one of those shops that you can stay for hours and get lost because you don´t know what to buy and choose. They have diaries, cards, books, boxes and handmade paper. You can visit and buy in their studio and atelier, located in Las Condes. Is difficult choose only one product, but my favorite is the origami figure mobile, is really beautiful and amazing!. Also they have products from Papelera Palermo of Buenos Aires. The shop that I visited is located in Drugstore comercial shops in Providencia.

Vida de perros?:: A dogs life?

Esta fue una semana larga y agotadora. Mirarlas a ellas me pone feliz y me relaja. Los perros saben disfrutar la vida...increíble...las amo.

Esta semana estoy obsecionada con las chicas de carácter, no sólo por mi post de Martha wainwright, sino porque hoy volví a ver All about Eve, con una de las actrices más geniales que conozco y más me gustan: Bette Davis. Su fuerte personalidad, su buena actuación en el papel que sea. Y como si fuera poco estaba pensando en la película Being Julia, también excelente con una acutación impresionante de parte de Anette Bening. Ambas chicas con personajes fuertes, seguras, pero que en algún momento dudan de ellas mismas, caen un segundo y resurgen con una fuerza increíble. Girl power!

This week I´m obsessed with a very strong personality girls, not only for my last post of Martha Wainwright, today I watched again All about Eve, with one of my favorite actress of all times, Bette Davis. Her strong and powerful personality and the great performing in every character that she play. And of course I was thinking about this similar movie with the amazing performance of Anette Bening in Being Julia. Girls that they dubt about herselves sometimes, fall down for a second, and they get up again with more strength. Girl power!

Música::Martha Wainwright

Con letras crudas, sinceras y con una voz suave y dulce, Martha pudo sacarse el peso de ser la hermana de Rufus. Tiene unas canciones preciosas y realmente se las recomiendo, yo prefiero el primer cd. Para cantarlas en voz alta y fuerte o bien para trabajar un día lluvioso en la casa.

With raw, strong and honest lyrics and a soft and sweet voice, Martha could be independent from her brother Rufus. She has a very beautiful songs, I really recomend her, and I prefer her first cd. For sing very loud or just for listening in a rainy day while you are working at home.
