Disfruté mucho este fin de semana cocinando. Usé el libro de Narda Lepes, me encanta este libro.

Hice muffins de chocolate y pollo con cherrys asados, cebollas moradas caramelizadas y hechas con aceto balsámico y champignones a la provenzal. Mi esposo agradecido claro.

I enjoyed cooking this weekend, I used Narda Lepes cookbook, I really like this book.

Chocolate Muffins and chiken with grill cherry tomatos, sweet onions with aceto and provenzal champignons. My husband is very thankful of course.

Quisiera adoptar un perrito, pero la verdad que no tengo espacio es mi departamento. Me encanta lo que hace Pedigree. Este video es hermoso, quien no puede querer a una perrita tan hermosa...soy bastante tonta, pero cada vez que lo veo se me caen las lagrimas.

El Fantasma de la opera::The Phantom of the opera

Esta ha sido una semana terrible, con mucho trabajo, sobretodo porque estan terminando las clases y estoy preparando los examenes para mis alumnos. No tuve tiempo para bloggear y menos para contarles lo bueno que estuvo Buenos Aires el fin de semana pasado. El viernes pasado mi suegra Rosa sacó entradas para todos y nos invitó a ver El Fantasma de la Opera. Estoy todavía muy emocionada, no solo por el hermoso regalo de invitarnos sino porque el nivel de la obra es increible, me gustó muchisimo. Todo es espectacular, los trajes, las canciones, los actores, la escenografía...Estuvo espectacular.

This last week was mad, with lots of work, because this week we start all the exams at university, and I have to prepare everything for my students. So I didn´t have time to blogging, and I couldn´t tell you how fun was Buenos Aires last weekend.

Last Friday my mother in law, Rosa, got tickets for all of us to see The Phantom of the Opera. I´m still happy and shocked for the beauty of this play. Everything was spectacular, the costume design, the songs, actors, the theatre...I loved it and I had an amazing time.

This wednesday I´ll visit my home city, Buenos Aires for a few days! I´m really exciting, and I feel so stress right now that I want vacactions! We keep in touch...

Cafés de Santiago

Descubrimos este hermoso, calido y chic cafecito este sabado. Darjeeling cafe está ubicado en la calle Gertrudis Echeñique, en el barrio el Golf. El lugar es muy francesito además porque tiene una arquitectura como neoclasica. Amé este lugar, además el diseño interior es fabuloso, tiene un sofá rojo enorme y un papel mural precioso. En fin, el café y mi cookie de chocolate estaban increibles!

We discovered this beautiful, warm and chic coffee store this saturday. Darjeeling cafe is in Gertrudis Echenique street, a very french place, because all the architecture is neoclasic and ver very french. I loved this place. Also, it has an amazing interior design, with a beautiful red sofa and wallpaper. Anyway, the coffee and the chocolate cookie was amazing!

Busy Busy Busy

Estuve tan ocupada estas semanas que no tuve tiempo de bloggear mucho. En fin, muchas cosas pasaron estas semanas!
Me compré estas medias en Benetton, porque uso siempre blanco, negro o gris y creo que el amarillo puede funcionar muy bien y además es uno de mis colores favoritos.

I was so busy all these weeks that I couldn´t find the time for blogging. Anyway a lot of things happened!.
I bought these beautiful tights by Benetton, because I wear all black, grey and white, so I thought that yellow could work for me this season, and I love yellow!!

El fin de semana pasado dsifrutamos un día hermoso al aire libre, aún cuando el invierno ya realmente se siente.

Last weekend we enjoyed a beauitful day outdoors, even when winter seriuosly started.

Hice una clase especial para mis alumnos, estuvimos viendo la increible fusión que existe entre el diseño y la música, y ellos tuvieron que diseñar una portada para un Cd para diferentes canciones. Lo importante en este ejercicio era el sonido y la emoción y poder plasmar eso en la portada seleccionada. Entonces, invité a dos estudiantes de la escuela de música, tocaron la guitarra acústica y sonaron increíbles!! pueden escuchar y ver en este video.

I made a special class for my students, we saw the amazing fusion between music and design, and they had to design a cd cover for different music. The important thing in this excercise was the sound and the emotion. So, I invited two music students, they played acoustic guitar and OMG! sounds amazing! you can hear it...

Otro hermoso ejercicio que hicimos a partir del uso de la línea, el punto y el plano, o sea, los elementos básicos de la composición. Trabajamos sobre los diseños clásicos de sillas del siglo XX. Hubo unos resultados espectaculares. Pueden ver más aquí.

Another great excercise we made about line, plane and point, the basic elements of composition. We worked on classics design chairs of 20th century. You can see more here.
