Mandalas

Hicimos "mandalas" con mis estudiantes en la clase de composición. Tratando de entender la geometría y como esta genera diferentes formas y figuras. Fue un ejercicio muy interesante y divertido! con unos hermosos resultados.

We made "mandalas" with my students in composition class. We trying to understand geometry and how its generate different forms and figures. It was really interesting and fun! and beautiful results of course.

Mi nueva aventura bloguera::My new blogger adventure

Ya saben que amo los libros con todo mi corazón y siempre quise formar parte de un club de lectura, lamentablemente no tengo tiempo así que decidí hacer mi propio club de lectura on line, donde se pueda hacer criticas de libros, comentarios, sugerencias sobre títulos favoritos, sin ninguna intención que se convierta en algo para eruditos e intelectuales, al contrario, quiero que todos los que disfruten de la lectura y un buen libro, se sientan cómodos de contarnos que libro le gustó y por qué. Además vamos a tener un invitado todas las semanas para que nos cuente un poco sus preferencias y alguna anécdota. Así que están invitados a Bibliofilia!

You know I love books with all my heart and I always want to be part of a book club, but I don´t have time sadly, so I decided to star a blog about books, critics, interviews with fans of books, I want to people leave their comments, points of view and everything. cocinando todo el día::cooking all day

Hoy fue una tarde para cocinar. Vinieron mi amiga Nati, mi mamá y Lucy, mi hermana, a tomar el té. Hice un strudel de manzana y una mini torta de limón.

De cena, hice un salmón que no les puedo explicar el color increíble que tenía, con una batata o camote y unos tomates bien maduros. Todo estuvo muy rico y divertido!

Today was a great day to cook. I had the lovely visit of my friend Nati, mom and sister Lucy. I made a classic tea time, with apple strudel and a mini lemon cake.

For dinner later, I made an amazing and beautiful salmon with sweet potato and very fresh tomatoes. Everything was fun and very nice!

Friday Next::Amsterdam

Vi este tip de Amsterdam in el blog Bloesem o Decor 8, no me acuerdo...pero es una tienda fabulosa! Estuve ahí con mi amiga Valeria (ella es de Argentina también, pero vive en Rotterdam) Pasamos un momento genial y esta tienda es hermosísima, me encantó todo lo que tiene. Además tiene un cafecito increíble, donde después de ver tanto diseño divino, se puede disfrutar de un exquisito almuerzo!. Espero estar de nuevo por ahí pronto...ayyy Amsterdam....te extraño.

I saw this tip of Amsterdam in Bloesem or Decor 8, I don´t remember...but it was fabulous! I was there and lunched with my friend Valeria (she´s from Argentina too but lives in Rotterdam) We had a great time together and this cute shop has beautiful things, I loved everything. Also it has a cafe, so you can see amazing design plus you can lunch there too!. I hope to be there again...oh Amsterdam...I miss you.

Museo de bolsos y carteras::Museum of bags and purses

No pude encontrar muy fácilmente este museo, de hecho estuve a punto de darme por vencida y no ir y visitar otro lugar en Amsterdam. Eso pudo haber sido un gran error y menos mal que intenté encontrarlo sí o sí. El museo está ubicado en un hermoso lugar, pero muy escondido y es realmente adorable! no puedo explicarles la verdad...La colección es increíble e interesante, tiene una colección de carteras desde el siglo XVII hasta nuestros días. Una de las cosas más hermosas que tiene es el café. Tiene un jardín de sueños y unos interiores realmente que sacan el aliento, pude haberme quedado por horas y horas.

Pueden visitar el museo on line desde el sitio web. No se pierdan la línea de tiempo que tiene y por supuesto si llegan ir a Amsterdam por favor! no se pierdan de ir a este museo.

I could n´t find this museum very easily, and actually I remember that I thought to give up and visit another place in Amsterdam. That could be a totally mistake, I had a great time, the museum is located in a beautiful place and it´s so cute! I can´t tell...The collection is amazing and interesting, It has a bag collection from 17th century to these days. The most beautiful thing is the cafe. It has a very cute garden and the interiors are breath taken, I could stay there for hours.

You can visit the museum and see the collection on line. Don´t miss the timeline! and of course I you can travel to Amsterdam, please please don´t miss this amazing museum.
